biography

Born in 1998, William-Nicolas grew up in one of the smaller regions of Quebec: Lac-St-Jean. In 2014, he undertook the ultimate leap: moving to Quebec City to begin a professional dance training program at the École de danse de Québec, a partnership with Cardinal-Roy High School. The following year, he began studying in natural sciences for 3 years, then social sciences for another year before focusing solely on his professionnal dance career.

William has always stood out for his flexibility and athleticism. In fact, in 2011 at one of his high schools, he was initiated to competitive gymnastics, which has left him with many assets that have proven useful throughout his career. â€‹

career

William took up teaching after only one year of dance study, but, having always had a deep desire to learn, travel and marvel, he had never considered undertaking a career in dance before his appearance on Révolution, the biggest telvised dance competition in Québec. However, he was pleasantly surprised by the numerous opportunities it brought him: performer for the 7 Fingers of the hand, dancer and choreographer for two video clips (Roxanne Bruneau and Marjorie Pedneault), choreographer and artistic director for the Carnaval de Québec, as well as a tour devoted to teaching and exchanging, sometimes through conferences. Finally, he also took part in events like En direct de l'univers, the DansEncore festival, and many more.
